Knicks and Knacks

Babi
Say it, damn it.

The creature is babi. Not khinzir. What? you mean the Arab's pig is of a higher stature than the Malay's pig? A pig is a pig is a pig in whatever language you say it. It is still a pig. Be brave. Say it, damn it. Babi. Just do not go around calling people babi. No, do not call them khinzir, either.

Jalang
Jalang is without having a place to stay, or to be wild. To say wanita tua itu menjalang means the old woman is wandering (because she has no place to stay). Semenjak dia ke kota, dia semakin menjalang. She has become wilder since she has gone to the city.

So what is so sinful about jalang?

Tahi
Tahi is excretion. It is in everyone of us even as you are reading (and I, writing) this. So what is wrong with saying tahi? And do you know the consequences if you can't release your tahi for, say, a week?

Anugerah
Anugerah is something that is bestowed upon you. It is something "given" to you without being asked for. No, this is not a jab at the on-going search for the next Anugerah winner. That, I can tweak. The anugerah in question is the gift/talent in singing. They are competing their anugerahs.

No, I shall not pay a nominal fee to get myself awarded.
