Not Without My Daughter
A true account of a mother's ordeal in a foreign land. First read it in 1995. Am re-reading the novel for the umpteenth time. Really "unputdownable", especially in moments like this when loneliness is gnawing at the deafening silence. Betty Mahmoody, my heart goes out to you. And all those entrapped. The story was produced in 1991. Finally found it on youtube. Love you, youtube.
