A charge of mine charged with molestation. Differing views from 4 other charges. Am I to blame? What would it have been if I had kept my cool and insisted that he stayed on with me that fateful evening? What would it have been had I been firm enough in not letting him go off? Would it have been a totally different story if I had gone by the book and reported the accuser of using vulgaritites and threatened bodily harm to another girl? Am I biased in passing judgement, albeit in my head?

A dear barely 11 year old charge lost her mother last night who succumbed to cancer. She already lost her father when she was barely out of the cot. If it is time to go, it is time to go. Death is a definite destination. But the trauma/effects it has on a kid that small sent a sharp pang in my compassion circuit. Be strong, Little One.
